This is an EA-6B Prowler practicing touch and goes at the Outlying Field (OLF) in Coupeville, WA.  In the background just behind the edge of the woods is a dirt road.  It’s dusty and has 3 foot deep potholes. In 10th grade we’d all load into Grover’s ’87 light brown Civic hatchback with the 16’’ Pioneer speaker in the back and drive to the end of the road. We’d park and get out. Someone would guzzle a Mt. Dew and then we’d turn the empty can into a pipe and smoke weed out of it.  As soon as we were nice and high we’d squish back in the car, Grover would put on Gettin’ It  by Too $hort and then drive as fast as he could out of there. Like a plane, the lil’ Honda went airborne every time it hit a pothole. We’d all smack our heads on the roof and laugh uncontrollably while yelling, “Faster!”
